Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy

How AUZZ News sources, verifies, attributes and corrects the stories we publish.

Sourcing

Every AUZZ News story discloses its source in the byline. Stories based on a single wire or outlet report are labeled as such. We do not present single-source rewrites as independently confirmed unless a second, independent source has been checked by an AUZZ editor.

What "Verified" means

A story marked "Verified" has been checked by an AUZZ editor against at least one primary or independently reporting source beyond the original wire item, and the claims in the headline are confirmed to match the underlying reporting. Stories that have not cleared this bar are labeled "Reported by [source]" instead.

Attribution

Where a story substantially rewrites another outlet's original reporting, we name that outlet prominently and link to the source article. We do not reproduce another outlet's original wording verbatim beyond short, clearly quoted excerpts.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Corrected articles carry a visible correction note with the date and a brief description of what changed. Material errors affecting the central claim of a story are corrected within 24 hours of being confirmed.

To report an error, email info@auzzgroup.com with the article link and a description of the issue.

Editorial independence

Advertising, sponsorship and commercial partnerships with AUZZ Group of Companies entities do not influence which stories we cover or how we cover them.
